I congratulate you Daniel for your first successful release on Steam. You’ve been through a lot, and you deserve to be appreciated for all you’ve done for your fans up until now and in the future. I’ve read some of the Steam comments for Rearmed, and so far they’re all positive ^-^ People really like your unique style. They did mention areas in need of improvement such as combat and level progression, but I’m sure you’ll address them later on the road. For now just bathe in glory.
I’d just like to say that I can’t overstate how excited I am to finally play Rearmed, even if there are fixes and stuff to be done. It’s an awesome game, and the best part is that it brings back all the memories of the first AwW.
I first played the first AwW back in… 2009, I think, and immediately got hooked up with the series. The characters, the story, the simple yet charming art… Every new installment was a pleasure to discover, a rewarding experience to play through. Over the years, I’ve grown attached to each character, learning to love or hate them, but above all else, there was one character I was charmed with: Lone Warrior, the leader of the Rebellion. The chosen one by Blackmist to save the world from Vandheer. Armed with Wings.
And now, I can finally play again as Lone Warrior when he was Armed with Wings. Nostalgia is rushing through me, and every time I see something I recall from the original game, I smile like a dumb idiot because of how happy I am.
Daniel, you’ve been through a lot during these years, and you deserve every last penny you’ll earn from Rearmed. During these years you brought us, your fan, hours of joy and entertainment, and it’s a pleasure to be able to repay you, even just a little bit, for these splendid gifts. Again, thank you for… well, for everything.
